Digitalisation for my company? How?
It doesn't matter whether you run a 10-year-old company or a young start-up. It doesn't matter whether you started out selling CDs from your garage or whether you have a clear business plan. Digitalisation is not at the top of the priority list. It's surprising how many companies still work with thick folders and endless Excel spreadsheets, even though there are much better solutions that simplify this work.
But I've always done it this way and it works well. It would be too complicated to change the whole system. I don't have the time and I don't know where to start. Sound familiar? Us too. We'll explain how we approach digitalisation so that you can find the optimal digitalisation strategy for your company.

Why?
First critical question. You already use email instead of letters and Excel spreadsheets instead of handwritten lists, but that's not enough. There is much more you can do. How many emails do you type per day? And how many of them are exactly the same? How often have you forgotten to send that invoice? How often have you accidentally skipped a line in Excel? With digitalisation, email and invoice dispatch and task creation can be automated.
This is so much faster and your brain has much more free capacity for the things that really add value to your business. You are more efficient, more flexible and more competitive. It is so important that the government even provides financial support for digitalisation in companies. And that is why there are CRM solutions. And implementation partners like us to help you with them. That's a few less worries and a few more good reasons why you should think about digitalisation.
How can I digitise my company?
If you've already visited our website, you know that we're going to say: with Salesforce. You don't need to set up a new IT department in your company or pay a freelancer for a complete, customised solution. You can map all your processes in this one system. All employees have access to the same information at all times, unless you decide they shouldn't see it. You decide!
Salesforce takes care of security and updates for you, which means you always have a system that is updated to the highest and latest standards. Large or small, old or young, industry-independent, Salesforce has the right package for your company.
How should you proceed?
It all sounds good in theory, but implementation is a different matter. We work with you. Salesforce has a network of implementation partners, and we are part of it. We talk to you, you tell us what you want, we make a proposal, and with your approval, we implement everything. It's that simple! But don't rush into it. There are a few important things to keep in mind.

Individuality: Every person is unique, and so is your company. We cannot stress enough how important it is that IT adapts to people and not the other way around. Your IT process should be based on the analogue process and reflect it. That is why you need to take small steps to reach your goal. First, digitise the general process and tackle the biggest pain points. Then go into the details and expand the processes in Salesforce.
It sounds paradoxical that in order to take the entire value chain into account, you should first digitise only part of it. But it would be uncool if the entire process were mapped and, after a certain amount of time, you realised that the Salesforce process had not been implemented correctly.
Usability: Digitalisation should help you be more efficient. If you and your employees have no idea how the system works, it's useless. The mapped processes should be intuitive. The necessary information should be immediately visible. Tasks should be clear and readable and completed with as few clicks as possible. No more endless searches for hidden data, no more long hours training new employees.
Salesforce can do a lot, but it shouldn't be too much for you and your company. It has to fit perfectly, because good usability improves your efficiency.
Consistency: We're not just talking about the processes here, but also about digitalisation itself. We are fans of automation, and this leads to a clean process. But if the wrong things are automated, the result is unfortunately only frustration. And that creates inefficiency again. Knowing the difference between ‘complex’ and ‘complicated’ is very important at this point:
Complicated tasks, i.e. those where the path to the goal is clear, can be solved with automation. The result will always be the same. Automation saves you time and energy here. Complex tasks, on the other hand, are not suitable for automation because the possible results can be diverse and require individual consideration and decision-making by a human being. Imagine a large customer is dissatisfied. You would be very reluctant to leave communication with this customer to completely automated responses... that makes us nervous too!
Digitalisation is not simply implementing something blindly. It requires planning, a little time and experience. But with much less effort than you might think and the right strategy, it is also possible for you. Contact us for your personalised digitalisation Salesforce strategy!
